Works right out of the box. It's been a week. No problem. I bought these because they are similar to the Seiko SNZG11 which I was planning to buy but wanted to see how they would look/feel on my wrist. I liked it very much. So much so that I'll skip Seiko for now. The tape is of much better quality than I expected. I am very impressed. The day/date instructions that came with my watch are reversed. The instructions displayed on Revain are correct. The infantry may have repaired it as early as 3 months later. i love this watch Set the time on the atomic clock if I have it. Still on time. 2 years and 4 months later (December 2020): Still loving and still running on the original battery. January 2021 is the rest of the story. The battery died about a week after the above update. No problem (I thought). I ordered a battery (SR626SW}. The back cover looked screwed on, so I ordered a two-sided key for the back cover. It didn't snap into the slots. So I got a three-sided key. The back was snap-on. I have a tool to remove the case however there is no slot on the back another question showed a youtube video showing how to take the back off the back didn't move the tool but one with a vise and a strap it worked the first time and i'm back in business by the way when the back is open to change the battery you have to unscrew the screw i still love this watch.
