God I never thought I could like a phone holder because I thought they were all pretty much the same. The bleed screw is smooth and has a micro-click adjustment that lets you dial in the exact draw you want. And no more loud noise when pinching the phone like iottie. I got ringing in my ears every time. I like that it folds down to a compact size when not in use. It's like having the best of both worlds with the stability of a full-size phone holder in the size of a compact holder. The compact phone holders are so strong in the clip that it sometimes takes 2 hands to install and remove. I have a Pixel 4, so the hand ends right over the volume buttons, but since there's no clip here, the buttons don't press. And since my hand is over it, I can press the top or bottom of my hand to adjust the volume without looking. I use this on my class b rv promaster 3500 on the vertical vent to the left of the infotainment screen. I have a GPS van while running google maps on my phone to check traffic and play music via bluetooth. At first I thought it would stick out of the vent quite a bit, but after the first use it's perfect because I don't have to bend down to reach my phone.
