My New Running Socks

When I was looking for new running socks, Injinji Toe Socks kept popping up in reviews and recommendations. I was skeptical as I'm a person who never liked the feel of things between my toes, but I gave them a try. It was fun putting on the Injinji Mini Crew for the first time as my toes weren't used to being separated. It took maybe a minute for each foot, but after a few wears the socks stretch a little making them easier to put on while still retaining a sense of shape around the toes. They grew just over my Achilles tendon which helps keep dirt and grit off my skin which then irritates my shoes. They're thin but durable, but I've only been wearing them for a few months now, about once a week for a pair. The only downside I have is that due to the thinness of the toe box, your shoes may fit differently and have a bit more room. Everyone wears different sizes, and if you regularly have thicker running socks, Injinji socks will give you some room in your shoes. Was it a problem for me? Not really, but I could tell my legs had more range of motion, but I didn't experience any side effects in the 80 or so miles I wore them. Pros: Lightweight and breathable Less blistering Minimal stretch Cons: - Due to the thinness, it allows extra room for the foot to move in the shoe.
