These Real Techniques sponges definitely stand up to a beauty blender and the tiny purple ones are a dream for concealers and under the eyes. However, both orange sponges became moldy after only a few uses when stored the way I always stored my BB (in its small holder, outdoors). When it happened to the first one I decided it was either an accident or my fault and didn't care because I had an extra one. But with the second orange sponge after the first use, this happened and I was quite disappointed. My BB gave me semi-regular use for many months before becoming crumbly and weird and I've never had a problem with mold. The purple and pink RT lasted a while but there was something wrong with the orange in my pack and it was awful. I'd be more impressed if they weren't disposable, but at least I didn't spend a lot of money on them.
