Sanity Saver!: Home Audio

This is a lifesaver! My elderly mother is hard of hearing and insisted on having the tv volume down at least in the 70's which drove us all crazy we couldn't even think! Our family couldn't talk to each other or even use the phone without leaving the room due to the volume of the TV. You could hear the tv throughout the house which caused problems for those trying to get to bed earlier than her (at midnight) and we didn't want to hear a lot of her favorite shows that she keeps watching lol. . Here's what she got for Christmas and we're all loving it! The TV transmitter is on one side of the double-width camper, the receiver on the table next to her chair, on her "good" side. She can control the volume as she pleases, and I can control the volume on the TV. Now our family can really talk or focus on other things without being bombarded with noise or actually sleeping at night. A few minor annoyances that don't change my assessment: 1) pausing the TV for more than a minute. either way, there will be no sound when playing again, you need to turn receiver off and on again. 2) The speaker makes a loud clicking sound every time you use the TV remote control to fast forward or rewind.
