The sound quality is very bad.

This type of product is exactly what I was looking for, but the sound quality is so bad that it's completely unusable. Work-related factors worsened my hearing. I wanted a speaker next to me with a volume control so the TV wouldn't be too loud for the rest of the family. This was difficult as the base had to be four feet from the firestick I was using. Great device. Make sure Dolby Audio is disabled on TV and Directv.

This is an excellent piece of equipment my deaf father can't live without. This allows everyone in the room to hear the TV at a normal volume and still hear audio at a comfortable volume. Struggling to get this box to work, I spent hours swapping cables while covered. in the dust, climbed around the TV and returned to frustration when Nintendo got stuck on Paperboy's final level. Sometimes things go a little differently

I'm happy with my purchase! The sound reminds me of being in a movie theater and hearing different soundtracks from different speakers around you. This device works like this. Often there is dialogue in one earphone and background noise in the other at a lower volume. Love it! Two caveats: Watch your volume. This machine is a miracle for me! For the first time in years, I can hear and understand television dialogue much more clearly. @ Simolio staff are excellent. Sanity Saver!: Home Audio

This is a lifesaver! My elderly mother is hard of hearing and insisted on having the tv volume down at least in the 70's which drove us all crazy we couldn't even think! Our family couldn't talk to each other or even use the phone without leaving the room due to the volume of the TV. A very useful invention!
