Review on ๐Ÿง— Unleash Your Inner Adventurer with PETZL Luna Climbing Harness by Daniel Paige

Revainrating 5 out of 5

(note for tall ladies) First impression is a great pendant.

As a tall woman, it wasn't easy for me to figure out what size belt to wear (yes, there are measurements, but those of us who have bought clothes based on our measurements only to be disappointed, you know what I mean). I'm 5'9" tall, 27" waist and 21" hips. Based on measurements I might order small or very small. I'm not a very short person. I'm not even a short person. See my predicament Someone pointed out to me that I should choose the small because it might be gentler on the ascent than the extra small and that person was probably right, however I had to tighten the leg straps all the way as I'm a little nervous about this harness won't fit anymore once I lose a few pounds.Slightly lower on the hip when I fell into the harness it jerked towards my chest and created a very uncomfortable wedge for me so I don't do it.It was uncomfortable to wear in it but today I wore it to the gym for several hours with no problems.I bought the Luna instead of the Selena (although I love the color!) because my first harness had an extra gear loop at the back and I didn't wear it could imagine without. The reverse gear loop is a great place to stash my cordelites, extra lockers, and a "lucky cable" or two, because if I run out of all the alpine cables I *think* I need for this route, there's still the trail . I look forward to using it when I get back to the real rocks in the spring. I'll try to update this review when I test the harness from the outside.
