You get what you pay for
First, advertising is misleading at best. The only steel part of this "STEEL" paper cutter is a tiny thin blade under the orange knob. All other parts, including the black base, are plastic. Worst of all, the base rail is too wide to not restrict blade movement at all. As a result, the cuts are curved rather than straight. Pay the reasonable price for a neat old style paper cut if you want to cut your papers straight.
- Simple and Convenient: The portable paper cutter can be put in your backpack for easy carrying. During operation, all you have to do is press the orange square and the blade will return automatically after you release it for safety.
