I've wanted this scraper for a long time and finally bought it after so many good reviews. It's been a few days and it's big and strong and can easily be used for years! Now the worst - I picked it up to move it and as I laid it down the scraper slipped onto my fingers as I grabbed the sides just a few millimeters to land on the floor - and did nothing but do that , which I could have laid down with anything else. My finger was cut off by a very, very thin piece of cardboard that was glued together into a scraper. I have compared this scratching post to 10 other scratching posts I have and the cardboard on this one is very very thin. The insides are razor sharp too, so they're coming back because they're not safe for humans or cats!
