You have exceeded my expectations. They are very strong. They are metal but covered with leather. I didn't want anything cheap like plastic in my new car and they are perfect. These are the only metal hooks I could find with a cover because I didn't want to risk using plain bare metal hooks that could potentially puncture my leather seats or rub against the back of a car seat and damage the leather. . Highly recommended.
