really wanted to use this to see how it works and has had its ups and downs so far but overall there is quite a small margin to the green. The first time I forgot to turn it on before I arrived and turned it on when I went to the first tee. He eventually caught up around the 3rd or 4th hole. I was on a course and had to turn it off and on 4 times before it finally hit the correct hole I was on. my friend has an old Garmin watch that he uses and sometimes we are 5-10 meters apart when we take measurements and we sit next to each other in the car. This gets you close enough to your range if you don't have high hit accuracy, which I don't have. this will at least help you decide which club to use to get onto the green when you already know how far you can hit your clubs. I would rate it higher if there wasn't one thing that really bothers me. My computer doesn't recognize this thing. I understand you don't need a computer to use this but I want to make sure my gadgets are up to date and up to date which in this case would require a firmware update but I can't do without that the computer recognizes the exploded thing. searched all over the net and tried everything they suggested and always couldn't figure it out. even emailed the company offers and that was 3-4 weeks ago. No Answer. that is the main reason for the 3 stars. otherwise it would be 4. I will still use it but I'm not 100% sure if the distance it tells me is the actual distance or 5-10 meters longer or shorter. If you don't have $300 for rewards, this will do. I just hope you don't have a problem with the company having to contact you as you may wait a while if you hear from them at all.
