My hair is waist-length, very straight, fine and medium thick. Finding conditioners, especially heavy-duty ones, that don't leave hair completely limp and a little greasy can be a daunting task. It works very well and leaves my hair clean, conditioned and straight with little volume and bounce. The shampoo smells like a high-end fashion magazine, with fragrant pages. This is a fragrance that says "expensive" but perfumery at the same time. The shampoo itself forms a rich, not particularly foamy or airy lather and rinses out well. Then I hesitantly applied the mask, about double the amount I used to wash my hair. This is a thick creamy mask that is easy to apply. The directions say to apply it evenly from tips to roots, but instead I applied a more intense coat to the damaged ends and lengths, and then applied a thinner coat to the rest of the hair. Leave for 5 minutes, then rinse. It was washed clean and easy. I continue with my usual hair care routine, let it air dry, detangle with styling and let it air dry before brushing. It's awesome. My hair feels heavy, soft, doesn't feel weighed down or limp and has a great shine even without using a serum. A few drops of the serum were all it took to get those few thin pieces to achieve that smooth, veiled hair effect you see in the ad.
