This duvet is much better than I expected. Fleece blankets are often impractical as bedspreads because they are very slippery. The two textures of it fix it. You get a velvety top side and a thicker bottom side, which means it stays in place even on slippery microfiber sheets. It's so soft and just enough weight to hug you while you sleep. The best of all blankets in one. I bought it for the winter, I use it all year round. Would like to see more colors like pastels and bright colors. The celadon was the only one that went well with our baby sheets and I wish the more cheerful summery hue would switch to a navy blue occasionally. (It's also a lot of fun that kids can send a message after you smooth the top as each touch changes the shine.)
