Review on 🍷 Enhance Your Wine Pouring Experience with Vacu Vin Slow Wine Pourer - Standard, Stainless by Robin Baker

I wasn't sure, but it's actually pretty cool.

Wine is such a cool thing: open a bottle today and it tastes a certain way, open it the next day and it might taste different. How much air is exposed also changes the taste. So I was really intrigued by this and how it could change the taste of some of my expensive wines that I have in my collection. The instructions were a bit confusing but we opened a rather expensive bottle of wine and poured 2 glasses from it. Fault. Then we took it out and poured 2 glasses of wine without wine. In a blind tasting test, both my husband and I noticed a complete difference - the wine tasted like it came from 2 completely different bottles. Due to this minimization of air, the tannins and fruit were very evident and I was able to easily absorb the notes of the cask it was aged in. Without the instrument, the wine was very soft and smooth. Both are delicious, but retaining the notes intended by the winemaker while minimizing exposure to air was amazing. We let 2 glasses mature for an hour and tasted them again. The wine poured with the tool softened a bit, but I could still hear the tones described above, while the wine poured without the tool was flatter and slightly acidic. we are fans This is best used when you have an expensive wine that you want to experience slowly and fully. We will be using this A LOT in the future!
