Decent white AIO cooler, included fans are junk

This is probably the nicest white 360mm AIO CPU cooler you can get today . This is ideal for an all white case as the block, water pipes, heatsink and fans are all white. The LED-customizable ROG logo is also a real treat in person, and I had no trouble getting it to work with the Asus Armory Crate/Aura Sync software. Temperatures are decent for a 360mm, certainly not the best on the market but decent and not fantastic considering the price. With this cooler, however, you are basically paying for the aesthetics. Unfortunately, Thermaltake and Corsair only offer 240mm white AIO coolers and I don't think the $80 DeepCool white AIO cooler isn't leaking, which is also ugly as hell and doesn't work if you looking for an attractive build PC. The biggest disappointment are the included Asus RGB fans. When delivered, only one of the three fans had working RGB lighting. The other 2 don't light up at all. And even in production, only 4 separate LEDs seem to be turned on, so it's pretty dark at max brightness. The fans are also very noisy, especially above 50%, and they don't seem to be pushing much air at all. I will soon be replacing all 3 fans with a Corsair iCue QL120 fan kit which offers much brighter LEDs, better software and better airflow at lower dB levels. It's just a shame that the included fans are almost useless at this price of $250. Adding a good Corsair kit adds $130 to the price of this cooler, but you get what you pay for as these are some of the most attractive RGB fans out there. not even on the same level as the Corsairs. If you want beautiful construction and value aesthetics and noise levels, you get what you pay for.

Pros
  • Individually addressable RGB and NCVM coatings accentuate a sleek, modern aesthetic
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
