I needed a pump to pump out my inground pool. I also purchased a WAYNE 66000-WYN1 24' 1-1/2" Drain Hose Kit and a Superior Pump 99555 Universal Check Valve to prevent the hose from running back into the pool when the pump stops. This combo worked great to empty my pool in about 6 hours.The flow rate is based on the pump being at the same height as the hose but my hose was 7ft higher so the speed was slower.I have the pump twice used to pump out the pool the first time there was a lot of sand and debris on the bottom and the pump caught it very well I used the shorter screen to get more water the pump is very quiet and worth the money !
