This is a great little outlet for the price. Two caveats though: 1. This outlet does NOT support switchable outlets. If you have a switch that supplies power to one of the outlets in the outlet you are replacing and you want it to stay that way, this is NOT for you. This wasn't a deal killer for me as all the lights are Wi-Fi bulbs.2. This socket supports side wiring (wrap around a screw instead of straight on the back). Sometimes the screw is a bit difficult to loosen enough to wrap the wire around it. Keep working with him and he will weaken. Since one of the other reviewers mentioned a faulty outlet, I decided to purchase a USB tester (Eversame Digital Power Meter https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01D9Y6ZFW/). It's $10 to ensure you don't ruin a phone or tablet 50-100x more expensive. The socket is easy to install. If you are new to the world of outlet installation, I suggest taking a picture of your current outlet after you unplug it, just for reference. I also suggest buying a test kit (Klein makes a great kit for around $40 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00J9Q5FCE/). This will ensure that you are not touching any hot wires and that your outlet is plugged in properly. You can also confirm your conclusion with a multimeter.
