Best for the price you have to learn how to use it (not flimsy like other reviews said)

I bought this tripod/monopod for a small DSLR with a regular lens and it works great. When you see the 1/4 screw is loose and you keep rotating the camera to tighten it, grab the camera, use the quick release lever and the screw part will loosen with the camera. There is a wrench under the screw that is used to tighten the screw. You don't turn the camera outside, only with the help of a key. This was done so that you can point the camera. The monopod is released by first loosening the flower head screw and pulling it up until it stops. To prevent the monopod from dangling and stretching randomly, simply twist and tighten the bottom elastic band to hold it in place. The upward tilt is controlled by hand and to keep it stationary or loosen it up, simply unscrew the swing arm a little. The screw at the top of the swing arm is used to tilt the camera 90 degrees sideways. If you ever go outside and it moves, simply fill the bag with rocks and attach it to the hook at the bottom to add weight and stop it from moving. I would shoot a video but I only have one tripod (have to save for another). I only have one week with him, if anything changes I'll add him. My only complaint is that the quick release plate that attaches to the camera is plastic (just the small part that the 1/4 screw attaches to). Everything else looks like aluminum.
