Review on Spectre Performance 2515 Pressure Gauge by Jimmy Montalvo

Very nice and neat sensor. I used it in my fuel line which includes a high pressure electric fuel pump and fuel pressure regulator. I use a regulator to reduce the high pressure output of the fuel pump to the 6.5psi needed for an Edelbrock carburetor. This fuel gauge definitely comes in handy when adjusting the fuel pressure. However, the threaded portion of this sensor is very long. I couldn't screw the pressure gauge all the way into the fuel line because it would then clog the fuel line. Instead I used a couple of shims to run the extra length before installing the gauge. ATTENTION! Use proper thread sealant, not plumber's tape! This is important as small leaks fall on a hot engine. If you smell fuel in the engine compartment after installing this sensor, it is likely that fuel is dripping onto the engine. This is a mounting issue, not a problem with the sensor itself.
