. This is my first stabilizer and I love it. The box came a little crumpled in the lower right corner. However, this in no way affects the use of the stabilizer. It's foldable, compact and the matte pink color is really gorgeous. You use the same packaging for both color versions of this device. So don't worry if you ordered pink and the picture on the outside of the box is black. Everything is fine with the quick start guide. But of course some things get lost in translation. You can check out the full manual on the Feiyu website, which goes into detail about the different shooting modes. And this stabilizer can do a lot! I really like how easy it is to switch between portrait and landscape mode with the push of a button. It takes some getting used to and the instructions for setting up the smartphone are a bit vague. So try to find a YouTube video that will help you. The instructions require you to place your smartphone in the exact center of the phone clip. The instructions state that you must first balance your phone exactly in the middle with the logo facing up. I have a photo showing this orientation. I recommend doing it on the first try, but you don't have to balance it. Just make sure you unlock all the clamps, insert your smartphone right in the center of the clamp, and turn on the gimbal last. There are three things I would like to highlight: 1. The Feiyu app (iPhone) is optional, although it offers really fun and useful features like carriage zoom and face/object tracking.2. When you take photos in the app, your photos will also be watermarked! I have attached an image for reference. If you don't want this, use the native camera app on your phone instead.3. Don't forget to unlock all clamps. Otherwise, a "Gimbal Overload" error message will appear and the app will disconnect from Bluetooth and beep red about three times before shutting down. This part is not really explained in the instructions. So if you forget to unlock all your clamps like I did, you know what to do! Great product if you are just starting out in vlogging! Highly recommended with some caveats.
