If you look at the Garmin help blogs hosted on the Garmin website you will see many issues with this unit ( setup, especially for Wi-Fi). Disclosure - I've been in IT since 1991 - I had to work an hour to plug this in. Reading other issues---lots of RMAs etc., I got a little depressed. However, I happened to remember that I had an old "ANT+" USB adapter. I tracked this down and hooked it up to my computer, set up the device and within 5 minutes had it hooked up to a Wi-Fi network using an ANT+ adapter to connect. OOB --- Wi-Fi setup and connection - just "WILL NOT END" and it works. And for the price, they could just pack in an ANT+ adapter to save a lot of calls, or just design a better product to start with. I am now completely satisfied with the product - would be unhappy without the ANT+ adapter. And let's be honest - who has them just lying around.
