This product does its job well. It really "should" not transmit sound to your audio system unless your AC mains is noisy. And then it might help to clean it up a bit. My AC power is OK. I bought it to protect the devices connected to it: DAC, computer monitor and Mac Mini which is my audio server. The problem with evaluating such a device is that you don't really "know" if it even works. You know when it doesn't work because the next lightning strike just took your gear. But if it works, your hardware should be able to handle electrical issues. Furman has an excellent reputation for performance conditioning, which is why I chose Furman. This is a small, slim 1U (1 7/8") high unit with a power indicator on the front. The sockets are on the back. There is an auxiliary indicator that can help you check the status of the installed equipment. Below This device replaces an old Monster device that has failed So far so good!
