This wand did not open or close as intended. Once the wand was open, it took ages to close it again. It's very dangerous! The bottom of the stick is sharp with metal protrusions. My son cut the bottom of his hand trying to close the wand. The design is terrible. The spring force in this system can cause serious injury. I tried to close it, but under the action of the spring, the wand opened and hit the wall with such force that it left a trail. I'm so glad that one of my kids didn't look into the wand when the wand's quill came loose. It would completely damage the eye with all the spring force! This is very dangerous and should be taken off the market! I threw it away so no one would get hurt.
