Compressionz USED to be a fairly good and inexpensive compression sock that was useful for athletes and people with medical conditions. Of course, I've always noticed that up until last spring the upper band was a bit tight and therefore counterintuitive to blood flow, whether vascular or lymphatic. However, they were a lot cheaper than many brands and the style looked MUCH better. And they were tough enough to withstand activities like walking and hiking. BUT, this last pair I got was pretty much the same as another brand and was flimsy. Having worn compression stockings for over a decade now, I know that so-called "sheer" nylon and spandex based socks will snag, tear, and more when you're active. I don't care what any company says, it's my experience and I take good care of my socks. I learned a long time ago to always wear at least football socks with nylon socks like the new Compressionz. If you buy them then I suggest you do the same. I returned my socks and went back to the always trusted brand which cost about 2-3 times as much. You're lost, Compressionz.
