Original review from 10/2017: There were problems at first because they did NOT send me soft white but bright white. Even the boxes were labeled in pale white, wrong. But the seller immediately sent me replacements free of charge and they were correct. These strips are bright, reliable, easy to install and have many uses. And the price is fantastic. I've been using them for several months now and so far not a single LED has failed. Highly recommended. ----- Updated 09/2019: These warm white waterproof strips were placed under the windows of my home, out of direct sunlight. After two years of night-only operation with proper PCM dimmer at about 1/3 brightness, one of the three 16-foot sections failed (90% of the lights in the strip went out). When I removed it, I saw that one LED was burned out and all the other LEDs behind it lit up. There was no tension on the tape, I couldn't see anything to cause it to break. It is not repairable as the tape cannot be reused. I ordered some new kits and replaced this strip. My main problem is that the 2 year old strips are badly yellowed. A yellowed sticky "hat" they put on the strip to protect it from inclement weather. It was an even yellowing (not just in front of the LED) that was amazing. So the new kit is much whiter than the old one. So unless I'm replacing the stripes all over the front of the house, I'm sticking with two different colors. I'm disappointed with the lack of durability and the yellowing issue (which others have also reported). I was expecting 6-10 years of service, not 2. However, the price is very low and installation is very easy (although it's very difficult to remove that paper backing from the tape to get started, so I'm downgrading my rating from 5 stars) to 3 stars.
