We got Turkish coffee and bought it to make. Very easy to use. Simply pour the water from the cup you want to use into the ibrik and bring it to a boil. Then add a spoonful of coffee and stir gently. Then reheat the water over medium heat and serve. She has terrible taste. It's like dirty water and I was never sure if it would taste good. The coffee is like a Nesquik mix. It's terrible, but Ibrik is good. The handle doesn't get hot at all, even when the pot is boiling. Try it and see if you like it.
