Review on No Nonsense Breathable Cushioned Quarter by Phil Kuebler

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Attention - bad/lean parties!?

I first fell in love with these socks a few months ago so stocked up during Prime Days but not a very good result. I ordered nine pairs in total and they were ALL noticeably THINNER than the ones I've loved, worn and washed over the past few months! See image below - NEW sock on left foot vs. PREVIOUSLY FAVORITE sock on right foot. I can almost see my leg through my LEFT leg! At first I found it weird when I was walking in my regular shoes and my feet got so "slippery" and dangling in the shade that I had to bandage them HERE! (I'm lazy so I hold onto my tennis all the time, loose enough I can put my foot through my sock!) But I'm not a quitter! Given the NEW reviews on how thick and comfortable these socks look I think I'll be returning them for an exchange hoping to get a GOOD/THE lot this time! I'll try to remember to do an update on my SECOND chance results!) Just be aware that there are some bad/poor games out there (and hopefully NOT the "new normal"). UPDATE July 18th: Just got batch #2 but unfortunately same result >> thinner than OLD socks. BUT, the mystery is solved WHY they are thinner/slippery! - They REALLY are less cotton than the MANUFACTURER'S website as shown below. According to the manufacturer: 79% cotton, 19% nylon, 1% polyester, 1% spandex. Per this Revain.com order: 73% cotton, 24% nylon, 2% each polyester and spandex. For the same ARTICLE NO. (2L15RF) - with !? I will place an order with the manufacturer and see if I get 79% cotton as advertised! (OR, has No Nonsense changed/worsened their "recipe"?) Ugh, that's a lot of work for a pair of socks!
