Review on Enhanced Cooling and Convenient Mounting: Radioddity G90-H1 Bracket Holder with Quiet Cooling Fan for Xiegu G90 by Mark Dahmer

Some people have indicated that a fan grill is needed. They must have updated the design because the metal is cut to already have a grid on it. I picked it up and had no problem getting my fingers in the fan. Also, there's an audible click when you extend the legs and a little resistance to pull them back in, so I think they've solved that problem as well. What they haven't decided is the need for a fan switch. I'm assuming you're all radio amateurs so soldering the switch in series shouldn't be difficult, but it's a hack fix that should have been incorporated into the design so there's still room for improvement. The construction itself feels solid and should last a while. It's definitely convenient to fold up the radio and keep it cool with a custom-made case like this. Overall I am satisfied and it seems they are constantly working on improving their design, would buy again
