Review on Upgrade Your Audio Experience With NewFantasia 4.4Mm Male Balanced HiFi Cable Compatible With Sennheiser And Sony Headphones by Patrick Carlson

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Lovely looks bad performance.

They look and feel beautifull but i guess mine came in damaged somehow. I tried playing songs im very famiar with like: limit of your love by james blake with literally brand new (wed, nov 25 2020) the sennheiser massdrop hd58x jubilee and ifi zen on the balanced output with high gain and the bass boost. Obviously cranked up to the max and They started rattling like crazy. Then put same song and same settings with the original cables (3.5 mm) and they sounded perfect. No rattle nor cracklin. I dont know if there is something im missing in the whole thing or if the balanced cables are not meant to be played with full volume ( which if its the case, makes absolutely no sence ) so im returning them. They are expensive and should be equally as good at least to the stock unbalanced.Ps: i did check the whole headphones, opened them and checked for glue or hairs in the drivers and also looked for possible disconections on the driver itself and they were in perfect state (obviously they are in fact new headphones)

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • The cable's benefits may not be perceivable to the average listener, making it an unnecessary purchase for casual users
