OK. Foam significantly increases the thickness of the magazine. Only handles with a very small diameter are suitable!

Summary: OK. Foam significantly increases the thickness of the magazine. Only handles with a very small diameter are suitable! So, I'm a notepad. I like the look, the feel, the smell. Do you understand. If not, read something else. I have a very old, much loved, fancy leather binding for an unusually sized (4.1x6.51) cognac-colored notebook that gas stations are no longer made for (a minute's silence, please). In order for the pen to fit (in the spine of the book), the notepad must not be wider than 3.25, max. I could only find notebooks that are too big or too small (which looks weird). Yes, aesthetics are important. Don't judge harshly. When I realized that the Leuchtturm1917 Classic hardcover would do, I was satisfied. The problem is that there is no more room for a pen (hidden in the spine of the book). So I was looking for an after sale pen holder. The prices for the lighthouse are frankly ridiculously high. So I searched far and wide and found this. I was hoping to find one that had NO FOAM LINING. But alas, that's all (at least on Revain). So I've attached some photos for the crazy obsessed among you. As you can see, it does a great job of holding the pen firmly on the pages (most important) and holding the pen firmly (NEXT, most important). Problems with stickiness on the skin not found - it works fine. The problem is that the adhesive is foam based and so THICK that it increases the closed depth and looks EXCEPTIONALLY UNATTRACTION (when the pen is not holstered). It actually looks unattractive outdoors (see photo) against my beautiful rich caramel skin. Perhaps more importantly, the strong crease that keeps the lid closed without a latch (honed over the years!) no longer keeps it closed. That extra 1/8 inch in the back really makes a difference now! It opens when not in hand. However. The man does what he has to. That's it. Ah, the last one. As you can see I've added a photo of the PEN - I love these pens. But they are very thin (25mm circumference) and some men I know don't like the way they feel in hand. It is almost impossible to use larger grips without two hands. and forget about it all with a gel or rubber comfort band. The handle needs to be smooth and smooth to slide (and there will still be a little drag, which is good). So if you use heavier pens or markers, this isn't for you. Yes, they do their job. For usefulness: 5 stars. For aesthetics: 2 stars. Compromise: 3 stars
