The mug itself is wonderful The lid I've been using this mug for over a month. The cup is great. Works better with cold drinks (think about it), but you still get 2-3 hours with hot drinks. Washing hands is a no-brainer. The base fits in my cup holder in the car. At first I thought the steel straw was ridiculous, but it's one of my favorite features. BUT after about a week I noticed a few small cracks on the lid. More came out and they started crawling out. If it was just cosmetic I wouldn't shoot a star. As a result, a crack went under the rubber seal that closed the lid, and eventually a section broke off. The lid no longer holds. Like a large vacuum mug, it still holds cold drinks, but hot drinks aren't safe without a lid. Pack splash-proof cup lids (black) as spare lids. Back in business! The landing is close. I find it most effective to tuck the rim against the drinking hole and press down. I've been using one with no problems, a fourth for a few months and I have two spares in stock. Someone figured it out, it would be nice if it was ATLIN.
