Let me start by saying that you shouldn't be getting this for your drinks if you expect them to stay hot or cold. I have serious doubts about the reviews published here. This product _LITTLE_ saves everything. I make coffee in the morning and it's lukewarm in less than an hour. The cold water doesn't actually stay cold as advertised. Don't trust the reviews. Avoid this item. The only thing it has is design/quality but other than that it hardly does what it's supposed to do.

It's nice that the glass came with a stainless steel straw and cleaning brush, but I prefer a silicone straw that can't be stuck in the roof of your mouth in case of an accident (I often bump into walls). I have a feeling other reviewers are very harsh on this mug. This is fair value for what you get. If you want a fake Yeti, get this. The lid sucks, as everyone says. I've had mine for about a month, moderate use, mostly hot liquids. The lid is cracked and now I have to find a new lid. I think it does a good job of keeping my coffee warm. The mug itself is wonderful The lid I've been using this mug for over a month. The cup is great. Works better with cold drinks (think about it), but you still get 2-3 hours with hot drinks.
