The wallet stays IF the iPhone has NO case.
Wallet easily detaches with a simple shake. Holds up better if you don't have a case. I wouldn't risk it. I can't comment on durability as I don't use it. Leather stretches like any other skin. thickness just right. The wallet looks good, but there is no point in buying it. Conclusion: Wallet holds but iPhone is not secure, or secure your iPhone but wallet can easily come off and you lose your credit cards.
