thin shaving and hair remover

I was expecting them to be strong enough at the spatula and scoop ends to be used on something soft, but they are so fragile at both ends that I wonder , as they are commonly used. I ended up cutting the thin spatula part off one of them to get to the harder part. Very disappointing.
