I thought I was wrong despite the nice picture on the box. I took it out, it just shines with silver. Bought for a 2001 Subaru Forester. It took five minutes to squeeze it into the windshield, but it holds up easily with two visors. I think this will work fine for what we need. The car is now outside under the desert sun, which mostly shines through the windshield because the car is parked between the house and the workshop, so the sides are quite shaded. So aside from the annoyance if we want to control it, it should work fine. I glued it in the evening, was disappointed that it wasn't as colorful as the picture. Now when the sun is out I went to look and .COLOUR. It's really shiny and beautiful.
