I would have loved this tree -- the tree itself is exactly what I expected in shape, form and function. It arrives in a cardboard box and you simply put the boards and tree together then drape the blue cloth over the base. The branches are easy to bend into place but also firm enough to hold the ornament. The size is perfect for small spaces and a nice reminder for the Christmas season on the true meaning of Christmas.The problem I have is that the wood base came with pink paint all over it. As if they took scrap wood to make the base. I wouldn't have minded the use of scrap wood given that it was being covered, but the blue cloth is smaller than it looks on screen and the paint was all over (both sides of the wood) and the cloth was not large enough to cover it. Which meant I had to go buy a larger cloth. Not happy but it worked for this Christmas. Will look for a better option or replace the base for next year.
