Review on Black Diamond Rear Bench Seat Covers - Bestop for Jeep Wrangler 2003-2006 by Gary Shakeone

Not as advertised but still looks good on a Jeep

I just recently purchased these front and rear seat covers. They were installed on my Jeep (Wrangler 04) for about two weeks. All I can really comment on is ease of installation and display accuracy, not durability. First, there are no pockets on the seat covers. Some may not care, but my jeep has no storage at all. I specifically looked for change covers with pockets. That was very important to me. I was very disappointed when I received them and found they didn't have a bag after being advertised as having one. Although they don't have a pocket as advertised, they are still very good material. I have a quick case for a jeep in a similar material from Bestop. I've had it for eight years now and it has held up well outdoors in inclement weather for long periods of time. If they can stand the sun and the occasional rain, I'm happy. Second, the setup wasn't terrible. The front seats were lighter than the rear ones. Only problem is they are tight and well made to fit specific seats. I think that's a plus, not a minus. My daughter, who helped put them on seats (and works in an ER, so maybe she's had to do this before?), said dressing her was like dressing someone else in skinny jeans. It was definitely easier when multiple people could pull and tighten while someone else tied things in place. The seats look great. They will protect my original seats from damage. They would probably hide the old rats too! I will keep an eye on this review as they have time to age with the weather. At this point I would definitely buy them again.
