Works very well and leaves a thin film on all dishes. The dishes really become smoother and look cleaner. It also helps to get rid of the residue in the dishwasher itself, for example the inside of the door looks a little cleaner and smoother. This protective film is probably not desirable for your beer glasses that go flat, so I try never to wash them in the dishwasher. I was also hoping that this Jet Dry would be able to remove some of the old etching or flakes on the bottom of my old wine glasses. Unfortunately it doesn't, but it seems to prevent new etches from forming. So I think I should have started using this product sooner. Love the bottle cap design and the small spout. Just pour it neatly into the dishwasher door. I bought 4 bottles of 8.45oz and the first bottle was almost empty after 6 weeks of almost daily use. So 4 bottles should last about 6 months.
