Exact replacement for the swivel chair that came with my La-Z-Boy chair (different manufacturer but same size and design). Removed the old one, vacuumed the underside of the chair and installed the new one in 20 minutes. It's hard to turn, but I used a screwdriver to turn it 1/8th to access the screw slots to install it. After installation, the chair rotates normally. I'm sure it will loosen up a bit as I use it. I just don't want it to be as loose as the old one that fell out of the ball bearings.
