Firstly, let's talk about the absolutely worst packaging of an item of this type, size, and weight you can have. The table is heavy and awkward to handle and it's shipped as a single item. That means after it leaves the warehouse it gets knocked around. Add that to the fact that it's shipped in very cheap Chinese rice paper cardboard, is a recipe for disaster. That's why so many of the reviews talk about receiving the table damaged. Cheap, cheap, cheap packaging!My table had been dropped on one corner and the box ripped open. Then it was dropped again, this time on sand. How do I know that? Because it had a dinged corner, and sand inside the box when it was delivered! I live close to the beach and I don't need sand delivered to me. Especially not inside the box of a brand new stainless steel table I bought! Ridiculous!Because I'm not a total incompetent with tools, I hauled some out from my trusty tool shed and repaired the dings, dents, and abrasions caused by the incredibly poor packaging. My wife was satisfied and so we kept it because I don't need the hassle of returning it or requesting a replacement part from Gridman.The table itself is of relatively good quality for the price. It's sturdy and after we cleaned it with stainless steel cleaner, it shined like a new dime. The adjustable feet are heavy duty plastic and at least an inch high. They won't scratch an interior floor and they'll keep water from creeping up the legs to the steel.The metal is #304 stainless steel. That means if you take care of it, either indoors, or covered if it’s outdoors, it probably won't rust. I recommend you use a stainless steel cleaner such as what would be used for kitchen appliances. It cleans and also "seals" the surface somewhat. If using the table outdoors, use the cleaner more often, and keep the table covered with something waterproof. Don't let water pool on it for any period of time because it will leave a spot, guaranteed. That's what #304 stainless steel does, that is, it prevents rust, but doesn't handle standing liquid very well.Because of the cheap, cheap, cheap Chinese paper cardboard the table’s packaged in, and all the resulting aggravation it caused, I’m giving the table a 1 star.Gridman, if anybody reads this review, double box the dang tables, you knuckleheads!Anybody need some free sand?
