Works for little ones

If you don't try to vacuum wet stuff but instead clean regularly this little gadget should work just fine for you. I use it to clean coffee grounds (there are many) and it works perfectly. I also use it to tidy up the table after dinner and the countertop when I've just eaten some crackers. It's perfect for picking up dry crumbs and incoming dust, but I don't expect more from it.
