I bought two of these to use with my original 7" car sat nav as well as a 10" Samsung S5e tablet. On the plus side, the suction and grip on the dashboard is extremely strong. There's something like a "sticky" on the suction cup that really helps it stick to the dashboard. In addition, the mount is large enough to accommodate larger devices. The negative is the connection between the holder and the suction cup. it only has four fairly small protrusions on which to place the bracket. The tablet fell while driving on a rough, bumpy road, which is becoming a common occurrence in Denver, Colorado. I would give a very high rating if the designer could come up with a locking mechanism between the tablet holder and the bracket. It doesn't fall off the dash, but the mount's grip on your arm isn't secure enough for an expensive tablet. It's a good device, but not great. This could be improved.
