Review on Physical Therapy 081452515 ChildrenS Support by John Ghattamaraju

Offers some support, but the design needs to be changed.

They provided some support for my son but not enough when he had to wear an orthosis after his short arm was torn off following a fracture. But the metal support, which was only at the bottom of the brace, continued to slip with normal wear and tear. In addition, there is a Velcro fastener between the thumb and forefinger. The seam where it was sewn rubbed heavily on the thumb and was rubbed clean after a day of wear. We ended up sending it back and got a slightly sturdier brace from another seller that had more support and no Velcro between the thumb and forefinger. It wasn't what he needed for support and the velcro bothered him.

Pros
  • Orthotics for hands and wrists
Cons
  • I'll write later
