I still have a Baggallini with short straps and two side pockets that I used every day for work. As soon as I saw this, I ordered it immediately because of the longer shoulder strap. The long shoulder strap takes the strain off your shoulder, especially when you're carrying a water bottle and a large coffee container (metal). The short shoulder straps fit well when I wear them on the shoulder strap. On weekends, when I go to the store, I usually only wear short straps.
