I like the overall effect. The 4 cleaning and gluing threads are connected by serial connectors which, if disconnected, must be reconnected correctly. This will leave the wires sticking out at the 3 corners, but some tape to route them behind the TV will take care of that. On my TV, the lights only come on when the TV is on, so I plugged them into a nearby outlet (using a standard plug - USB adapter instead). I gave the remote control 4 stars but the instructions on how to use the remote control are unclear. There are 6 memory settings to find out by trial and error. Oh, and the remote control receiver needs to be exposed behind the TV to work up to 8 meters away. Very satisfied, would buy it again.
