We needed a humidifier in our house. I didn't expect to get electrocuted every time I touched something metallic. Found this beauty and thought hey this is beautiful. Nice big capacity, long lasting, warm and cold mist, heck even essential oils would work. PERFECT! So I ordered. Was pleasantly surprised when it arrived after Christmas 3 days before Christmas as expected. Easy to use, assemble and fill. Used filtered water and we were up and running all day. even had to refill. Fast forward to Christmas. It was working fine until late at night when I noticed the power button was flashing red. OH! The automatic shutdown may be due to lack of water. Filled up, plugged back in, BOOM! the red light flashes again. WTF! Check the TROUBLESHOOTING guide for flashing red lights! Now I have the weight of the paper. Was working fine but now just stalled. I'll email the company and see if I've missed anything. Checked the damn thing again and still nothing, just a flashing red power light! What does the red flashing power indicator mean? No response, even with the remote control. What gives!
