At first it seemed like an ideal product but after a few months of use it only got worse. I'm not exaggerating, but it fails on all levels: the quality of the switch, the quality of the outlet, the WiFi connection, and the app. First things first: the switch itself - the actual physical switch has become very unreliable. When you press it, sometimes it works, more often it doesn't. Sometimes this goes into something of an in-between state where the device, in this case the pool pump, cycles on and off every two seconds or so. I thought my pump was failing until I did a little troubleshooting. Now outlet #1 is physically out of service. I thought my pool pump was dead but it ended up being a plug. Luckily I can use socket #2 until the manufacturer (hopefully) replaces it. Tomorrow is a year since I ordered it. Phew! WiFi - I need to connect this to my WiFi regularly. Used to be every couple of weeks, now several times a week. And I have strong Wi-Fi coverage. I replaced my router with something powerful and brand new a few months ago. Or it's not my wifi. And every time you reconnect to WiFi, you lose all your settings and schedules and have to start over. The app has actually gotten a lot better. Settings used to be lost all the time, but luckily that's no longer a problem. This works very well now. I finished. I will contact the manufacturer for a replacement or refund.
