I got this case because I was a bit paranoid that the back flap of my Surface would come loose and eventually wear out quicker than I'd like. This cover is not attached to the surface of the flap and covers the entire surface with a thin layer. I LOVE it, it's very durable. Thanks to the case, my surface looks very nice even without a lid. It will NOT get dirty, I've had it for two months now and the stains from the kitchen table and drafting table haven't come off and if for some tragic reason it breaks (I doubt it) then I would buy it again. Viewing angles are very flexible and durable. It makes me feel like my finish will last a lifetime.
