Looks like a glove but expensive and adds durability

Conforms to Black Diamond online sizing charts. This glove is clearly made for skiing, but I use it for cycling in the winter. Good fit and cuff length. I've always preferred ski gloves when cycling in winter. The cuff changing system, which allows you to open and tighten the cuff, is excellent and easy to use when wearing gloves. The strap for adjusting the overall width of the gloves is best fitted once, as you cannot operate it reliably with gloves. The separate index finger design is ideal for bikes with disc brakes that can be conveniently controlled with one finger. Probably not good for cycling with V-brakes. Even in very cold weather, my index fingers didn't freeze. Separate interior and exterior parts are a big plus. Cycling generates a lot of heat, so wind resistance, breathability and adjustable insulation are very important. This glove has it all. No problem for 50 minute winter rides at 15 to 30 F with gloves with thinner liners. The supplied liner is too warm, probably for temperatures above 10-15 F when cycling, except maybe for very quiet cycling. The exterior has a leather palm and individual stitching, two features that bother me. The stitching looks weak and I'm concerned that the leather will hold onto the handlebars, which take a lot more hand pressure than ski poles. too fast for my taste. Aside from the stitching, the upper appears to have good water resistance. Water seeping through the seams probably won't be an issue as testing in running water is pretty extreme compared to a snow storm. I keep these gloves. My biggest fear is seams. If it holds up these gloves should be good value for money.
