BIG, mostly durable. There is only one problem with this tripod; Crank lifter allows for play/jitter when pivoting UNLESS set screw is tightened. On the other hand, after a puff it rotates and tilts as expected; smoothly without jerks. This was my first truly liquid panorama head, so to be honest I didn't know what to expect. I knew what I wanted - smooth panning and tilting. i think i have it Above all, I want to show how big this object can be. My height is 5 feet 8 inches; This tripod can tower me so high that without a stool I can barely reach the camera (arms outstretched). at eye level for general use. It has more than two legs that it can extend further vertically. It has weight, but it can be packed. It comes with rubber feet and spare parts. it's not obvious how he's going to take her. Another thing to know is that the lift and crank work smoothly but not well enough during recording. I'm willing to take this thing to photograph forests and lakes and of course parks. literally gets my camera over any mess. Head tension is adjustable with grippable screws, but only to a point. He gets tightened. Once the set screws are loosened the incline doesn't loosen up much, which I'm grateful for as I still have to adjust to the tempo of the video. Panning gives you much more freedom of action. stronger than the Hang but still very smooth, no stuttering - at least that's what I could tell. I suppose if someone forced it. but why? The bubble level is odd as it only moves when the tripod is tilted far enough off center that I know the corner is blown before the sign shows up. The head has graduated markings for pan and tilt. The mounting plate is "quick release" but when I can't get through with my rig, "quick" quickly becomes awkward and relative to the situation. The quick-release lever has a latch, so when changing plates it snaps back to lock the plate and camera - yes, that's a good thing. I like the initially obvious build quality. It looks and feels solid enough to take anything but a direct hit. There may be blood if you trip over it, but the legs will likely bend, as with most aluminum coasters. I think if someone uses a $13,000 camcorder they will not use this stand. look at my photos I've added a very quick video showing pan and tilt for what it's worth. I apologize for the shaking in the video. It's not because of the tripod. Unfortunately I converted the video to usable/downloadable quality and frames dropped. I am still studying. I think this tripod is a keeper. Thank you for reading my post.
